Requirements

All board certified behavior analyst must be: 

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst

• Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Louisiana, 

         or eligible for licensure

Description

• Provide direct supervision to caseload of learners with Autism Spectrum Disorders or relevant disabilities.

• Provide training and supervision to Registered Line Technicians and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts.

• Provide training and supervision of students enrolled in ABA coursework.

• Conduct competency checklists on therapists to ensure treatment integrity.

• Provide parent and self training on the principles of ABA and behavior modification.

• Conduct functional behavioral assessments, develop appropriate behavior reduction procedures, and train parents and therapists on procedures.

• Conduct verbal behavior/language assessments using VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, and Essential for Living, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor client progress towards goals.

• Assist with administrative tasks and oversight of clinical operations.
